COVID-19 Policy (updated 8/26/22)
Swing Buffalo will follow all COVID-19 requirements as set forth by the New York State and Erie County Departments of Health.
COVID-19 vaccine and boosters are recommended but not required. Masking is recommended but not required. Dancers may ask you to mask when dancing with them, please be respectful of this request.
Do not attend any Swing Buffalo event or class if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 2 weeks, or if you are waiting for test results.
COVID-19 symptoms vary widely. Do not attend Swing Buffalo classes or events if you have not been feeling well for any reason within the past 14 days.
Safer Spaces Policy
Swing Buffalo is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for all, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, age, appearance, disability, or religion.
We will not tolerate harassment of any kind, including but not limited to, offensive verbal comments, unwelcome advances, inappropriate physical contact, and disruptive behavior. We reserve the right to take action, including verbal warning, denial of admission, asking an attendee to leave an event without refund, banning an attendee from future events, and/or contacting authorities if necessary. We reserve the right to share information concerning specific incidents with other dance organizations. We reserve the right to ask attendees for identification.
This Code of Conduct applies to organizers, instructors, students, and any and all other attendees of Swing Buffalo events. By attending a Swing Buffalo event, you agree to be subject to our Code of Conduct.
Release of Liability (updated 8/26/22)
By attending Swing Buffalo classes and events, you agree to accept and voluntarily incur any and all risks or danger of bodily injury, illness including COVID-19, death, property damage, loss, expense, or harm which may arise during, or resulting from, my use of the Polish Cadets Hall and/or Swing Buffalo, regardless of whether or not they are caused in whole or in part by the alleged or actual negligence of the owners, employees, representatives, and volunteers of said entities.
